Children's Agenda
The Children's Agenda 2007
The Children's Agenda 2007 is the most visible product of MCCF. It outlines the investments in prevention services that support workforce development from birth, including quality 0-5 child development and education, parenting education, pre-natal and post natal care, support services for abused and neglected children, and school based health services. A major focus is the assurance of a revenue base in Michigan adequate to support necessary services. It includes a discussion of the fiscal context under which budget decisions are made in the Michigan legislature, and some suggestions for revenue options to allow the legislature to meet their constitutional responsibility.
